I’m Michael Valinsky, a Paris-based hybrid-content designer with a decade of experience in content strategy, people-centered user experience, and brand strategy. A unique blend of theory and practice underpins my work. With a Master of Science in Gender, Media, and Culture from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Poetics and Praxis from New York University, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how language shapes power dynamics, drives cultural discourse, and impacts everything from personal connections to systemic inequalities. This background informs my UX and strategy work, where I prioritize inclusive language, challenge biases, and create digital experiences that are not only seamless and intuitive but also equitable and empowering. For me, every word is a chance to center social justice and make an impact.

Whether smoothing out complex user flows, crafting global content strategies, or helping brands craft distinctive voices within competitive markets, I am driven by a passion for delivering digital solutions that champion users while yielding tangible business results. My practice is not problem-solving; it's the humanization of content design to create experiences that resonate and linger. Beyond UX, my writing has appeared in leading international publications such as the Los Angeles Review of Books, Hyperallergic, i-D, them, OUT, Kirkus Reviews, and BOMB. In my writing, I explore the intersections of language, identity, and media—how they sculpt and contest cultural narratives. I draw from cultural studies, queer theory, and visual culture to center the human experience in all my work. This helps brands build meaningful connections that inspire trust and time.
